  • Reservations – yes, up to 60 days in advance

New Orleans Square’s largest cafe sits along the Rivers of America, right in between an alleyway full of antique shops and the scenic gardens. With a wide assortment of Cajun snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, Cafe Orleans gives diners the chance to sightsee and relax in the midst of the New Orleans waterfront.

MY RATING – ★★★☆☆

Café Orleans has a great atmosphere and sits in a perfect location along the waterfront. But if you don’t like Cajun food, you may have a hard time finding something to eat. If southern comfort food is what you’re after, you’ll probably find something you’ll like at this corner eatery. The food is just ok, and the portions are huge, but the patio is a great place to sit and unwind.

MY FAVORITES

  • Pommes Frites

TRIVIA

Cafe Orleans has been serving New Orleans Square since the land debuted in 1966. But until 1972, the restaurant was called the Creole Café.

This restaurant was a quick service spot until 2006, when it was converted to table service.
