Flo’s V8 café is a comfort food diner located in the heart of Cars Land. Whether you’re looking for a hearty meal or just want a snack to satisfy your sweet tooth, Flo’s is a great spot to stop and refuel. Guests can choose to eat in the indoor dining room, with retro-style booths and tons of cool wall art, or on one of two patios overlooking the Cars Land scenery. At night, Flo’s V8 Café shines under neon lights, so you’ll notice this restaurant wherever you are in Radiator Springs.

MY RATING – ★★★★☆

Like most of the restaurants in the park, Flo’s V8 Café has a very limited menu. But the comfort food options here are good, and the shakes and desserts are second only to Ghirardelli in California Adventure. The back patio of Flo’s is one of my favorite places to sit in the park, especially in the afternoon and evening. Whether you decide to try Flo’s food or grab a snack elsewhere, be sure to take some time and appreciate the breathtaking views of the Ornament Valley landscape, and take some photos from the back patio’s awesome vantage point.

Note: If you’re looking for breakfast in California Adventure, try Flo’s V8 Café. Flo’s is one of the few restaurants in California Adventure that offers a full breakfast, and Cars Land in the morning has a lovely sunny glow.

MY FAVORITES

  • Spit-Fired Rotisserie Quarter Chicken
  • Flo’s Signature Chocolate Mud Pie-O-Rama
  • Flo’s Classic Chocolate Shake in a Souvenir Glass

TRIVIA

In Cars, Flo’s is a car café that serves oil and gas. In Cars Land, this café looks identical from the outside, and the front is fully adorned with gas pumps to achieve this effect.

In both the film and in the park, Flo’s V8 Café is designed to like a V8 engine when viewed head-on.

Route 66’s Midpoint Café in Adrian, Texas, inspired Flo’s V8 Café’s appearance and style.
