EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Service Type – table service
  • Seating – indoor dining rooms, outdoor patio & upper balcony
  • Reservations – yes
  • Entertainment – none
  • Menu

The Wine Country Trattoria is a rustic Tuscan restaurant overlooking Paradise Bay. Guests can dine from the regular menu or choose from the special 3-course World of Color menu, both of which offer a variety of soups, salads, meat and pasta dishes, and miniature desserts. Wine Country Trattoria is the area’s largest restaurant, and its central location makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal as you explore California Adventure.

MY RATING: ★★★★☆

Like much of the food at the resort, the options at Wine Country Trattoria are decent, but nothing special. The menu has a good mix of options, and there’s a large wine list both within the restaurant and on the adjacent patios. What the Trattoria lacks in fine cuisine, it makes up for in ambiance. The restaurant is beautiful, and the patios are cozy. If you’re lucky enough to eat on the second floor balcony, you’ll have lovely views of the waterfront, which is particularly pretty when the neon lights come on after dark. The food here isn’t as good as Carthay Circle, but if you’re looking for a less expensive sit-down meal in California Adventure, the Trattoria is a nice option.

MY FAVORITES

  • Broccolini Aglio Olio
  • Grilled Chicken Sandwich
  • Herb Roasted Chicken Alfredo

TRIVIA

When California Adventure first opened in 2001, this space was a wine and sandwich shop called the “Wine Country Market”. Though the market was relatively popular at first, it wasn’t a great use of the large space. So in 2002, the Market closed to make room for the new Trattoria.

    • Hey Joe! This isn’t a contact page for the restaurant, so I can’t help you get a reservation. Not surprised to hear it’s tough to get though – Halloween is an extremely popular time to visit Disneyland & California Adventure!

  1. The food here is kinda meh. But the world of color package is pretty good and I like the ambiance.

    • I agree, Davina! The food isn’t bad, but it’s nothing I’d rave about. However, the atmosphere at this restaurant is one of the best in California Adventure for sure.
