Edelweiss Snacks is an alpine quick service restaurant associated with the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Hungry guests can swing by in between bobsled runs for a snack or frozen drink, and enjoy the view of the mountain. Edelweiss Snacks also sits in front of a small pond, and its somewhat hidden location ensures a fairly quiet and peaceful dining experience.
MY RATING – ★★☆☆☆
Edelweiss Snacks has a limited and somewhat random selection of snacks, but they have plenty of drinks. If you’re near the Matterhorn and looking for a beverage, swing by this quick service spot. You can sit by the water, check out the Matterhorn, or even find decent views of passing parades from Edelweiss’ convenient location. Next time you’re thirsty and looking for a quiet spot to regroup, consider stopping by.
- Frozen Fanta Wild Cherry
“Edelweiss” refers to a European mountain flower of the same name.
Even though Edelweiss Snacks fits seamlessly with the alpine theme of eastern Fantasyland, the building did not exist until 2009.
