  • Menu

This Mary Poppins-themed restaurant is the perfect place for a sandwich, a hot drink, or any kind of sweet dessert. Hungry and tired Main Street USA visitors can grab a snack, and relax on the two-tiered patio overlooking the heart of Disneyland. The Jolly Holiday Bakery Café has a huge menu of coffees, pastries, and even a few soup and sandwich combos. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, you’ll definitely find something that hits the spot at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.

MY RATING – ★★★★☆

The Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is one of the best places to stop for a bite to eat on Main Street USA. They have a very limited meal menu, so unless you’re in the mood for a salad, sandwich, or grilled cheese & tomato soup (my absolute favorite!), this is more of a coffee & dessert stop than a place for a full lunch or dinner. That being said, the desserts are as decadent as they are delicious, and the Bakery Café always has special seasonal desserts available, in addition to the standard menu. Its corner location also makes the Bakery Café an awesome spot to check out the castle, the Astro Orbitor, and the Matterhorn. If you want a great place to eat and enjoy the sights of Main Street USA, the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is the place to go.

MY FAVORITES

  • Jolly Holiday Combo
  • Mickey Cookie
  • Chocolate Mousse Brownie
  • Flourless Chocolate Cake

TRIVIA

The spot where the Bakery Café sits used to house the Plaza Pavillion, a Disneyland pass information and purchasing center with a Disney Vacation Club sales booth.

This is the only restaurant in the park I know of where a grilled cheese is on the adult menu!

Pay attention to the décor, and you’ll find several Mary Poppins references, including character silhouettes, stained glass penguin waiters, Bert’s chalk drawings, and a Mary Poppins weather vane.

    • The name, Jolly Holiday, is based off a very famous dance number from the film. The restaurant has a Mary Poppins weather vane, and inside, you’ll see lots of little references in the decor…especially the penguins!
