Frontierland – When entering from Main Street USA, you’ll find the River Belle Terrace on your left, just as the path opens up to New Orleans Square. If you’re arriving from New Orleans Square, you’ll see the River Belle Terrace patio on the waterfront, across from the entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Guests exploring western Disneyland will likely stumble upon the small but charming River Belle Terrace. It’s scenic patio and quaint interior offer a pleasant and relatively quiet dining experience. And since it has been in operation since Opening Day, the River Belle Terrace is a piece of Disneyland history in and of itself. Since 1955, the Terrace has drawn hungry guests by the masses, filling the corner of Adventureland and Frontierland with delicious smells of comfort food all day long.
The River Belle Terrace also has a Fantasmic! package that includes fast passes. Every night, the restaurant offers private dinner service, open to guests interested in the show package. After your meal, you receive fast pass tickets to Fantasmic!, guaranteeing an excellent view of Disneyland’s most exciting show.

The River Belle Terrace was my favorite breakfast place in Disneyland; I was so bummed when it omitted morning food service. The Terrace’s dinner options are decent, and the Fantasmic! package is definitely worth it; you’ll have awesome seating for the show.

AThe River Belle Terrace used to be an Adventureland restaurant, until its entrance flipped to the other side.
Though the restaurant has held the same concept since the park’s opening, it has had a number of different names: Aunt Jemima’s Pancake House (1955-1962), Aunt Jemima’s Kitchen (1962-1970), Magnolia Tree Terrace (1970-1971), and the River Belle Terrace (1971-present).
The Terrace was Walt’s favorite place to eat breakfast in the park.
Wasn’t “Don Defore’s Silver Banjo Barbecue” located in the same spot from 1957 – 1962?
More or less! Part of the building that is now the River Belle Terrace was Don Defore’s, and part was the Aunt Jemima Pancake House. The different restaurant spaces eventually merged into one restaurant.
