Disneyland has tons of resources available for guests with disabilities or special needs, including care centers, ECV rentals, and even accommodations for service animals.

Service Animal Relief Areas

Disney defines a service animal as a dog or miniature horse specifically trained to support an individual with a disability, and service animals must wear their vests at all times in the parks. Service animals can go anywhere at the resort, with the exception of thrill rides and their queues. These restricted areas are:

California Adventure

Both Disneyland and California Adventure have rest/relief areas for service animals, located in quieter sections away from the crowds.

  • Grizzly Peak Recreation Area (behind Grizzly River Run)
  • Flik’s Fun Fair Trail (left side of A Bug’s Land)
  • Paradise Gardens Park gateway (access gate between Seaside Souvenirs and queue for the Little Mermaid)
