Buena Vista Street, like Main Street USA, is lined with tons of window displays, showcasing everything from candies to old-fashioned home wares. But did you know that one of these window displays pays tribute to Disneyland concept art?

If you walk along the right-hand side of the street, toward the central plaza, you’ll find this hidden gem: the Rock Candy Mountain display.

Rock Candy Mountain

Rock Candy Mountain was originally designed as part of the Storybook Land Canal Boats scenery. The mountain would have stood above the canal skyline, and the Casey Jr. Circus Train was to complete a circuit around the base. Though the mountain never became part of Disneyland’s landscape, it finally appeared as a window display in 2012. Today, Rock Candy Mountain draws guests into Buena Vista Street’s confectionary, and is one of the most frequently spotted hidden gems in the park.
