Welcome to Ask The Duchess – Vol. 77, a monthly Q&A post covering a variety of resort-related topics. Ask The Duchess answers questions submitted by readers. If you have a question you’d like answered, send me a message here.
1. Is San Fransokyo going to include the winery area? (submitted by Kathleen)
I’m honestly not sure. Maybe that area will technically fall under Paradise Gardens Park now? I think we’ll have to see how they update park maps – that area seems like a little bit of a mystery right now.
2. What’s your typical strategy for breakfast at Disneyland, as a regular park visitor (submitted by Brittany)
To be honest, I almost never get breakfast in the park. If i’m driving for a day trip, I’ll get a bagel for the drive. And if I’m staying at the resort, I usually stay off-property at a place that includes some kind of breakfast. Bottom line – I get something quick and get on with my day. I’d much rather spend morning hours cranking out rides before afternoon crowds roll in than having a sit-down meal.
3. Is my child allowed to bring his lovey (security blanket) into the parks? (submitted by Cathryn)
Absolutely, yes. The only exception I can think of would be if your child had a gigantic quilt or something that didn’t fit on rides. But a normal “lovey” – absolutely.
4. Does my daughter have to be dressed up to do the bibbidi bobbidi boutique? (submitted by Joan)
Nope, there’s no requirement. Some Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique packages include an outfit, so she’ll get one if you go that route. But if she doesn’t want to get dressed up, she certainly doesn’t have to!
5. What did they do with the areas that used to have fast pass distributor things? (submitted by Kalia)
Some became seating areas, but most became stroller parking or an open area.
