1. Is the wifi at Disneyland good enough to stream videos in line? (submitted by Alexei)
Sometimes. Wifi strength varies wildly throughout the park, and in some rides (like Indiana Jones) I lose service altogether. But honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a bunch of portable chargers for battery purposes alone.
2. I am terrified to do the Incredicoaster because of the inversion. Any tips to help me get over it? (submitted by Nora)
I was too for many years – don’t feel too bad about it! All I can say is that the inversion is very, very quick and over before you know it. To this day, I just close my eyes when it’s coming. You can feel in your body when it’s over, and then just open them again. It’s honestly a lot less daunting to me than Guardians of the Galaxy is.
3. Can I bail out of line if I just can’t do a ride, or do I have to do the walk of shame weaving backward through everyone behind me? (submitted by Kyle)
I actually have a post about this that I hope can help. The short answer is – often yes. It just depends on the ride’s line setup.
4. Can my five year old handle the Haunted Mansion? (submitted by Eileen)
This is pretty much unanswerable without me knowing your child. I do have a post about scarier rides that might help you judge – but at the end of the day, all you can do is use your best judgment and hope your child can express when they are ready for more intimidating experiences.
5. Which park is Expedition Everest in? (submitted by Angelo)
Expedition Everest is in the Animal Kingdom in Orlando, and is not part of the Disneyland Resort’s lineup (it’s also my favorite Disney coaster I’ve ever been on!). The closest experience by pure aesthetic would be the Matterhorn, but the ride’s mountain route, dips, and roughness are not at all similar.
Honest question—why do people submit questions like #5 which can be so easily answered with a one second google search? I think this column is really useful, but for things like tips and advice, or opinions. I think those factual things that you can look up yourself are not really that helpful!

The only time I was in Orlando to visit WDW I thought the Expedition Everest was the best looking coaster ever! Personally, I haven’t been on one since Space Mountain (not a coaster fan – especially not one that operates in darkness!!!) :O But the look of EE was fantastic. I really thought I was in Nepal or Bhutan as I walked towards it. (I LOVE Animal Kingdom so much!!!)
It is SO GOOD!!!!
