Welcome to Ask The Duchess – Vol. 96, a monthly Q&A post covering a variety of resort-related topics. Ask The Duchess answers questions submitted by readers. If you have a question you’d like answered, send me a message here.
1. Are there places in the resort you can’t navigate in a wheelchair or electric scooter? (submitted by Carla)
There are a few attractions that don’t have traditional wheelchair-friendly rider vehicles, but a few of those have alternative experiences. But in terms of navigation, every land is equipped with ramps, open walkways, or wheel-friendly paths so you that you can fully enjoy the park.
2. Can I join multiple single rider lines per day? (submitted by Jeremy)
You can join any line as many times as you want to. There are no limits on single rider the way there are for Lightning Lanes.
3. What are the most overrated souvenirs at Disneyland? (submitted by Chad)
It might be a controversial answer because so many kids love them, but I would honestly say bubble wands. They’re really expensive, bulky, and they don’t last that long.
4. Does the park have nursing mother rooms? (submitted by Kiera)
Yes! There is a baby care center in each park. These are fully staffed spaces with nursing rooms, changing rooms, toddler-sized toilets, and rest areas for parents and their little ones.
5. Do you have any advice of “don’t pack this, you won’t need it” for a Disneyland trip? (submitted by Jim)
That is tricky to answer because everyone’s needs are different. But one common question I’m asked is about coolers. You are absolutely allowed to bring outside food in, but not a cooler. So just leave that at home, as otherwise you’ll be asked to return it to your hotel or car.
