All is merry and bright at the happiest place on earth, and once again, California Adventure has joined in on the holiday fun. For the second year in a row, Pacific Wharf and Paradise Pier are hosting the Festival of the Holidays.
This evening event celebrates Christmas (& Navidad), Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Diwali. Special food carts offer seasonal pastries, drinks, and appetizers, and visitors can stop by craft tables to make their own holiday souvenirs. Several stages across the park host live performances throughout the evening, including fan-favorite bands from last year:
- Blue13 Dance Company โ An incredibly talented and energetic Bollywood dance crew.
- Mariachi Divas โ These Grammy winners perform Navidad classics in English and Spanish.
- Mostly Kosher โ A Klezmer band that encourages audience participation and lots of dancing!
- Raise โ An amazing a cappella group performing popular Christmas songs.
As an added bonus โ rare characters come out to play! If you havenโt met her before, this is Clarabelle Cow, an original Disney animation lady. California Adventure honors her with an ice cream shop on Buena Vista Street.
The Festival of the Holidays has also brought back Viva Navidad, a lively party featuring live performances from Princess Elena, and Mickey and his friends.
This yearโs Festival of the Holidays runs through January 7. For more information about the event, peformances, and food options, visit the official page here.
