And finally, in 2023, the Treehouse reopened with no franchise attached to its theming, as an unseen family’s home full of their collectibles and hobby items.

MY RATING โ€“ โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

I absolutely love the treehouse. While I think I liked the Tarzan version just a little bit more, this attraction is worth visiting for the sky high views of Disneyland alone. You can get amazing vantage pointsย of Adventureland, Frontierland, and New Orleans Square. Every time I visit the Treehouse, I find angle to snap some great photos.

TRIVIA

The Adventureland Treehouse peaks at 70 feet tall, offering the highest view guests can access within Disneyland.

The waterwheel at the base of the treehouse was created from molds of the original within the Swiss Family Robinson version of the attraction.

Look closely at the bookshelf and table in the music room, and you’ll see two books that pay tribute to the previous themes of the attraction.

There are references to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers scattered throughout the attraction.

  1. I’ve always loved the treehouse. During the early years – from 1975 onwards – of my annual visits it was the Swiss Family Robinson theme as you mention above, and I loved that theme, because I knew and loved the Disney movie well (and currently have it in my Disney+ ‘favourites’. The treehouse at Disneyland did a great job of evoking the magic of the one in the movie, which I adored. I wanted to live in it! ๐Ÿ˜€

    • I also LOVE that it’s not an overtly franchised attraction now. How long has it been since we’ve had one of those?!
