LOCATION
Main Street USA – The Emporium is impossible to miss. This towering shop stands on the corner of the street, facing the railroad station. You’ll find it between the fire house and the trolley tracks, with a flag waving above its tower.
EXPERIENCE
Details:
- Merchandise – Everything Disney: home wares, clothing, pins, toys…you name it
- Price Range – Smaller collectibles under $5, with some collectible accessories over $200
- Unique Features – Window displays called the “Windows of Enchantment”, Emporium Balconies
No shop in Disneyland compares to the legendary Disneyland Emporium. This shop has virtually every souvenir imaginable, all readily available right on the corner of Main Street. If you’re interested in shopping during your stay, the Emporium is a must. (And even if you don’t want to shop, the balconies and windows are worth a visit!)
SHOPPING TIPS
No matter what time of day you visit, the Emporium will most likely be busy with shoppers. This is a popular spot for guests to end a night in the park, given its location right by the exits. I’d recommend visiting in the mid-afternoon for a nice break from the heat, but avoid this area during parade times or you might get stuck.
TRIVIA
The Emporium is one of the last surviving shops from Opening Day.
The Windows of Enchantment displays became a tradition in 1969, to commemorate a re-release of Peter Pan. Disney periodically swaps out the scenes to show off fan favorite animations.
Hi my name is sandy. We will be coming to see ya all dec 5-10. Could you please tell me if you carry alive in wonderland blankets or hoodies. Thank you
Hi Sandy! I don’t work for Disney so I can’t speak to specific merchandise available during your visit. However, I’d definitely check out the Emporium, Disneyland Clothiers Ltd. (also on Main Street), and World of Disney. Odds are one of those stores will have Alice merchandise!
The emporium is my favorite shopping spot in Disneyland! It’s iconic plus they have great stuff!!!
