March 2023 – present
LOCATION
Mickeyโs Toontown โ As you enter and head up the hill to the main street, follow the main path to the left. Youโll spot Donaldโs Duck Pond on your left, just after Goofyโs Playhouse.
BACKGROUND
Since opening in 1993, Donaldโs home (in whatever form) in Mickeyโs Toontown has always been a family favorite. Originally called “Donald’s Boat”, the attraction started as a fun playground within his home. But from 2023 on, the pond itself became part of the fun, with the real water replaced by soft turf so kids can play outside too. Today, “Toon Lake” is surrounded by the charming neighborhood of Mickeyโs, Minnieโs, and Goofyโs nearby homes, with the GADGET Coaster just around the corner.

Donaldโs Duck Pond is a playful, two-story experience designed for kids of all ages. The bottom floor is full of interactive water features, colorful portholes to peer through, and fun surprises showcasing Donaldโs quirky personality. Upstairs, the action continues with a balcony view, the shipโs wheel to steer, and even more portholes to explore.
Parents can join in the wet and wild fun with their kids or relax on the shady patio nearby, complete with benches alongside Toon Lake and a playful fountain where Donaldโs laundry is strung out to dry.
MY RATING: โ โ โ โ โ
Among the play areas in Toontown, Donaldโs Duck Pond probably has the most character. The layout is spacious enough for families to explore together, and the nearby seating offers a great spot for parents to recharge. While there isn’t real water in the pond anymore, I actually think the turf makes this a much easier place for families to play together, and it doesn’t really take anything away from the illusion of being in a pond.
Although Donald himself doesnโt usually make an appearance, the playful charm and interactive features of the Duck Pond are enough to make this a must-visit spot for families with little ones.
TRIVIA
Donaldโs Duck Pond is still officially named the โSS Miss Daisy.โ
Look up, and youโll see nautical flags with Donaldโs laundry hanging out to dry.
