MY RATING โ โ โ โ โ โ
This is not life-changing barbecue by any means, but I think the food options here are solid. I actually think the food is a little better than when this was just the Hungry Bear Restaurant by theming. Itโs also an excellent place to sit down and relax for a while, especially if you walk all the way to the end of the upstairs patio, where itโs usually pretty quiet.
MY FAVORITES
- BBQ pulled pork sandwich
- Churro funnel fries
TRIVIA
Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree’s name pays tribute to the Country Bear Jamboree, a fan-favorite former attraction when the land was known as Bear Country.
The downstairs bathrooms are named after different characters from the Country Bear Jamboree, Trixie and Gomer.
If you visit the still standing Country Bear Jamboree in the Magic Kingdom (Florida), you may spot a napkin on display while in line for the show. This is a napkin from the last version of this restaurantโs theming, the Hungry Bear Restaurant, with notes from performer Henry on updating the show.
