There’s a very distinct Disneyland experience to be had in Mickey’s Toontown. Sure, in Fantasyland you can meet tons of characters, but in Toontown, you get to snoop through their houses. You have uninterrupted access to Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Chip & Dale’s homes. Mickey and Minnie’s houses offer particularly revealing tours, where you can open drawers, sit on the furniture, and turn knobs and switches. Minnie has her own little hidden gem tucked away in her house, which pays tribute to another legendary toon: Jessica’s Secret.
To find this hidden gem, head to Minnie’s House. During your tour, you’ll spot an overstuffed armchair by the fireplace in her living room. Take a seat – but be warned, it’s not as soft as it looks.
Once you’re seated, take a look at the magazine nestled on the left arm of the chair. It’s Jessica’s Secret, and you might recognize the cover girl: Jessica Rabbit, wife of Roger Rabbit.
Unfortunately, Jessica’s Secret is stuck on the armchair, so you won’t be able to flip through it. But you can visit Jessica Rabbit just down the street inside Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin!
Are you a fashionista? Minnie loves to order her clothes from Jessica s Secret a magazine that you can also find in Minnie s house.
I have always loved this detail at Minnie’s House! But I found it so odd they chose this image for the magazine, because it is the moment Eddie thinks he’s found Jessica, but it’s really the crazy woman who screams “A MAN!” and chases Eddie. But I suppose it’s because little slip.
Gosh I need to rewatch that movie. I figured they would’ve used her club performance outfit, but I guess they picked this one because she’s holding underwear, so they can connect it to Victoria’s Secret? haha.
