Disneyland tends to keep storytelling elements distinctly separated by land. You’d be hard pressed to find any cowboys outside of Frontierland, or rockets beyond the borders of Tomorrowland. But there is one exception to this rule…an out-of-place hidden gem: Mrs. Potts and Chip.
Welcome to Adventureland, a land celebrating the world’s most exotic and remote jungles. Let’s take a trip into the treetops, and check out Tarzan’s Treehouse.
Try not to get distracted by the beautiful views; we’ve got a hidden gem to find!
As we make our way down to exit the treehouse, we pass through Jane and her father’s camp. And what’s that, on the table?
It’s Mrs. Potts and Chip! (from Beauty and the Beast).
At first glance, this hidden gem seems totally out of place in Adventureland. But it’s actually an accurate tribute to the film. Did you know that you can see Mrs. Potts and Chip in Tarzan? They’re part of tea seat at Jane’s camp.
There are all kinds of fan theories as to why these two characters made their way into the jungle. No matter what the truth is, it’s cool to see how much care Imagineers took in designing every piece of decor in the treehouse!
Such cute wonderful detail. I love that about Disney land.
Cute!
