Step into the bustling world of Mickey’s Toontown, and you’ll find no shortage of hidden gems and details. Many of those come together under one particular organization, determined to keep these treasures in the public interest.
The Toontown Hysterical Society (their version of a historical society) is dedicated to preserving and presenting moments from Toon culture. Look for their inkwell and brush logo to see what objects they’re showcasing at any given time!
The Society’s biggest treasure trove lies within El CapiTOON Theater. This is where they keep the Mickey Through The Ears collection, curated by Minnie Mouse herself. You’ll find pieces from some of Mickey’s most iconic appearances, including Fantasia.
So the next time you’re visiting Disneyland, carve out time to walk through Toontown and take a peek at some of the Toontown Hysterical Society’s amazing treasures. I think my favorite is the “delayed” poster for Mickey’s Delayed Date!
