Adventureland is one of those spaces in the park that’s intentionally dense. You’re surrounded by thick trees, and you don’t get much variation of landscape unless you hop on the Jungle Cruise or venture into the Temple. So when I look through photos of this area (my own included), I tend to see the same views over and over and over. On my last trip, I really challenged myself to find some perspectives I don’t see as much within the land, and I think the exercise gave me a little extra appreciation for this busy space!

With that, here are a few less common vantage points within Disneyland’s jungle.

  1. one of my favourite things in Disneyland is the architecture, and Adventureland has some of the best in the Park, matched only by New Orleans Square. On one visit I remember taking dozens of photos (using the old film and SLR camera technology) of the fascinating upper level architecture with the rustic rooves and balconies. I love that stuff.

    • It’s amazing how many different architectural elements they fit into a land that’s almost entirely trees!
