January 2001 – present
LOCATION
Downtown Disney – Naples is located in the northeastern corner of Downtown Disney, near the park gates. If you are coming from the parks, keep to the right, and you’ll see Naples after the water fountain. If you are coming from the other end (by the hotels), keep to the left and you’ll see Naples; it’s the giant green building.
EXPERIENCE
Details:
- Service Type – table service
- Seating – upper and lower dining rooms, outdoor patios on both levels
- Reservations – yes
- Entertainment – none
- Menu
Naples is one of Downtown Disney’s biggest restaurants. This Italian eatery is always buzzing, and the large dining rooms and tables make it a very popular destination for big families. Whether you stop by for dinner or just drinks and dessert, this restaurant is a great spot to people watch and enjoy some comfort food.
MY RATING – ★★★☆☆
The reason to go to Naples is that it’s Italian food; it’s almost always a crowd pleaser, and the menu is fairly large. If you care more about quality of food than ambiance, this restaurant isn’t really the best choice. The food is perfectly average, nothing special but nothing terrible. The restaurant itself is pretty cool though; you can watch the chefs make pizza from the lower level, the upper level has some great rustic décor, and both patios are quiet and relaxed. If you’re visiting with a large group, Naples is a good choice. But if you’re looking for a date night spot or want to be wowed by your dinner, you might want to skip this restaurant.
MY FAVORITES
- Orecchiette
- Gnocchi
- Garganelli
