LOCATION
Downtown Disney – Whether you entered Downtown Disney from the parks or from the hotels, you’d head straight down the main walkway and find the Uva Bar. The bar was at the very center of Downtown Disney, and the large circular space was hard to miss.
EXPERIENCE
Uva Bar was Downtown Disney’s outdoor living space. Here, guests came for a drink, a snack, or even a full meal and experienced a relaxed dining experience in the California sunshine. Guests of all ages were welcome on the patio, and guests 21 and over could relax at the circular high-top bar. Whether you were taking an afternoon break from shopping or leaving the parks for the night, Uva Bar was the perfect place to stop and take in the sights and sounds of Downtown Disney.
CLOSURE
In 2023, Disney announced plans to majorly renovate and refresh downtown Disney. As part of this extensive project, Uva Bar and most of the restaurants in the central section of the district closed to make way for new dining experiences. Uva’s space became Centrico, a Mexican restaurant.
TRIVIA
My original rating: I absolutely love Uva Bar; it’s the perfect place to sit and unwind, and the big round patio makes for excellent people-watching! The food is decent, the drink menu is quite large, and the patio has panoramic views of Downtown Disney. If you’re looking for a spot to sit down and have a cocktail and appetizer during your trip, definitely check out Uva Bar. (★★★★★)
Uva bar was part of the Catal Restaurant next door, though the two were considered separate dining options.
