The Plaza Inn is an old-fashioned, Victorian style restaurant offering a selection of comfort foods, from fried chicken and mashed potatoes to pasta Bolognese and cobb salad. MY RATING – ★★★☆☆
Though initially skeptical of the Plaza Inn, I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the meals I’ve tried here. The food isn’t the best in the park by any means, but the meal options are pretty good and the portions are very generous. Even if you aren’t very hungry, the Plaza Inn’s patio is a great place to sit and relax, and is generally less crowded than that of the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café across the street. But if you’ve got a big appetite and want some serious comfort food, consider stopping at the Plaza Inn.
MY FAVORITES
- Chicken Pesto Alfredo Penne
- Fried Chicken
- Pirate Treasure Chest with Chocolate Cake
TRIVIA
The Plaza Inn offers a character breakfast in the morning, with Minnie as the hostess.
Before becoming the Plaza Inn in 1967, this building housed the “Red Wagon Inn”, a similar restaurant sponsored by the Swift Premium Foods. Today, the red wagon corn dog stand next to the patio pays tribute to the former restaurant.
I like this character breakfast. Good food and the princesses are so nice.
Such a pretty building inside. And a great place to sit too.
