The countdown to 2026 is on!
This was honestly a tricky post to write this month because unless I completely missed the memo…not a lot happened at the resort this month? It was kind of just a normal seamless transition between Halloween and the holiday season, with all the festivities that come along with it. So with that in mind, here’s a briefer than usual recap of this month at the Disneyland Resort.
THE START OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON
As soon as trick-or-treating wraps up on the 31st, Disneyland goes into full jingle bell mode. The resort is donning its usual garlands, tinsel, and ornaments across the various lands. And new this year, a wandering tree named Douglas Fir!
Douglas likes to hang out in Downtown Disney, caroling for passing guests.
And of course, alongside new traditions, Disneyland also maintains the classics. Hand-pulled candy canes are back on Main Street, and will be available through the rest of the holiday season. If you want one – get in line early! They sell out quickly.

For a full lineup of this year’s celebration offerings, check out my previous post here.
OTHER UPDATES
Over in California Adventure, Zootopia 2 promotions brought back Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps for meet and greets! You can find them in Hollywood Land, sometimes accompanied by Officer Clawhauser.

And finally, Disneyland announced the 2026 Disneyland After Dark lineup! I’ll have a post coming soon with more details about each event, but for now you can get the sneak peek on the Disney Parks Blog.
Like I said, not a ton of happenings this month! Let’s hope December runs just as smoothly across the resort – or brings us some exciting updates.
