It’s the most wonderful time of the year! In just a few days, California Adventure kicks off its 3rd annual Festival of the Holidays, a global celebration of the merriest season of all.
The festival, which covers all of Paradise Gardens Park, celebrates Christmas (& Navidad), Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Diwali. Along the waterfront, visitors can dine at special food carts serving specialty seasonal treats.
This year, Disney released the menus ahead of time! You can check them out here. Once visitors grab some food, they can enjoy live performances across the park. Disney has yet to release the set list for these performances, but years past included an a capella group, a Bollywood dance crew, and a Klezmer band.
And of course, the fan favorite Viva Navidad returns this year as well. Viva Navidad includes a dance parade, special performances by Princess Elena of Avalor, a mariachi band, and a big party with the 3 Caballeros celebrating Three Kings Day in January.
The Festival of the Holidays tends to include surprises too, like AP buttons, rare character appearances, and other fun games for little ones. This year’s celebration starts November 9 and runs until January 8. For more information about the festival offerings, visit the official page here.
All the food looks amazing. I wish I could try it all!
I’m all about the food! However I do love seeing how other cultures celebrate their holidays as well.
