There are tons of beautiful places to take family photos in Disneyland, but some are especially fun, since they have park landmarks in the background. The park has ten designated “Nikon Picture Spots”, marked with signs, and each usually has a PhotoPass photographer on hand to capture memories for guests. The following is the complete list of Nikon Picture Spots at the resort, noted by the landmark that will appear in the photos at that location.
DISNEYLAND
- Partner’s Statue – If you head down Main Street, you’ll find this Picture Spot at the center of the hub, overlooking the castle.
- Matterhorn Bobsleds – Follow the path to the right of the castle, and you’ll see the Picture Spot sign on your right, against the fence.
- Sword in the Stone – This one is probably the easiest to find in the park; it’s located right in front of the King Arthur Carrousel.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – If you enter Frontierland through the main gate, head toward the entrance of the Railroad. Keep going down this path, and you’ll see the Picture Spot on your right, near the ride’s exit.
- Haunted Mansion – This quiet Picture Spot is tucked in New Orleans Square’s gardens, between the Haunted Mansion and the Disneyland Railroad station.
CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE
- Grizzly River Run – To find this Picture Spot, head down the main path at the end of Buena Vista Street. You’ll see the sign on your right, in front of the waterfall. The Picture Spot captures memories from Grizzly Peak, and the waterfall connects to the Grizzly River Run ride. Fun fact: This area is technically in Pacific Wharf!
- The Pelton Wheel – Head toward Grizzly River Run, and you’ll find this Picture Spot to the right of its entrance.
Paradise Park
- Mickey’s Fun Wheel – This Picture Spot sits right at the front of Paradise Bay, to the left of the Golden Zephyr.
- Radiator Springs Racers – If you’re in Cars Land, turn left at Flo’s V8 Café. Follow the path that leads behind the diner, and you’ll see the Picture Spot, which overlooks the Radiator Springs Racers track.
- Tower of Terror – The Tower is the tallest building in Anaheim, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find. Head to the entrance of the Tower of Terror, and you should see the Picture Spot along the curb.
I have pictures at all but the RSR and ToT spots.
the Radiator Springs Picture Spot is one of my absolute favorites…the view is just amazing! I’d highly recommend it 🙂
