Disneyland has tons of resources available for guests with disabilities or special needs, including care centers, ECV rentals, and even accommodations for service animals.
Disney defines a service animal as a dog or miniature horse specifically trained to support an individual with a disability, and service animals must wear their vests at all times in the parks. Service animals can go anywhere at the resort, with the exception of thrill rides and their queues. These restricted areas are:
Disneyland
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Gadget’s Go Coaster
- Indiana Jones Adventure
- Matterhorn Bobsleds
- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
California Adventure
- California Screamin’
- Goofy’s Sky School
- Grizzly River Run
- Jumpin’ Jellyfish
- Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
- Radiator Springs Racers
- Silly Symphony Swings
- Soarin’ Around the World
- Tuck and Roll’s Drive ’Em Buggies
Both Disneyland and California Adventure have rest/relief areas for service animals, located in quieter sections away from the crowds.
Disneyland
- Grass to the right of the castle (between Pixie Hollow and walkway to Matterhorn)
- Fantasyland planer (to the right of It’s A Small World)
- New Orleans Square plaza garden (in front of train station)
California Adventure
- Grizzly Peak Recreation Area (behind Grizzly River Run)
- Flik’s Fun Fair Trail (left side of A Bug’s Land)
- Paradise Gardens Park gateway (access gate between Seaside Souvenirs and queue for the Little Mermaid)

Do to have any suggestions for food neighborhood suite hotel that is close , has a kitchen and descent relief areas
Hi there! I unfortunately don’t have a pet so I’ve never prioritized a hotel by animal relief areas. You can however navigate the good neighbor hotel map to judge distance and amenities based on your needs: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/hotels/good-neighbor/
Nice post. Great to know Disney has so many things for disabilities.
