I’m not a huge drinker, but I still love hanging out at Disneyland’s bars. Everyone is so friendly, the atmosphere is always magical, and the drinks are usually pretty good too! Below is my list of the 5 best bars at the Disneyland Resort. What are your favorites?
5. ESPN Zone
Sports fans die and go to heaven when they step into the ESPN Zone. Every single room is covered in screens, and the upstairs is a massive game room with pool, air hockey, and plenty of spots to watch any sport you want. The food here is a little too greasy and the portions are HUGE, but the drinks are good and there is no better place to watch a game at the resort.
4. House of BluesÂ
There’s no better place to listen to music than at the House of Blues. There are two floors inside: the stage level and the balcony. Both have great views of the stage, and the menu includes tons of tasty comfort food and drinks. Even if there isn’t a performance going on, the House of Blues is a fun place to hang out, but it doesn’t have the same magic as it does when there’s a show going on.

3. Uva Bar
If you’re into people-watching, there is no better spot than Uva Bar. This bar is right in the center of Downtown Disney, and you’ll often get to hear live music from the neighboring patio. Uva Bar serves full meals, a huge menu of beer, wine, and mixed drinks, and a huge circular bar with tons of seating. If you don’t want to hang out directly at the bar, you can also grab a table on the patio. Uva Bar is an awesome place to drink, eat, or hang out between fast passes and hitting the shops.
2. Cove Bar
The Cove Bar has the distinction of being the only bar on this list inside a park. This bar overlooks Paradise Pier, and has gorgeous views, an extensive drink list, and great appetizers. There’s almost always a line to get in, but it’s definitely worth the wait. If you’re looking for a place to drink and watch the sunset, there is no better spot than the Cove Bar.

1. Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar
You have to experience this bar to fully appreciate all it has to offer. The elaborately decorated bar is like the Enchanted Tiki Room on steroids, with tons of rum and flaming scorpion bowls. If you order different drinks, you might set off a rainstorm, anger the gods enough to erupt a volcano, or have to offer a sugar sacrifice into the fire. At night, you can also grab a seat on one of the cozy chairs by the fire and still enjoy the full menu. Trader Sam’s is such an awesome place to hang out, and their non-alcoholic beverages are really good too. The Tiki Bar is a place you have to visit at least once; it’s a unique Disneyland experience that you will never forget.
I’ve never been inside the Cove Bar because the line is always so damn long! Looks fun though.
cove bar is my jam!
I love it too 🙂 I was so happy when they expanded it!
