When I visit Disneyland, I’m not big on making dining reservations most of the time. Unless it’s a special occasion, or I sign up for a dining package, I’d rather just stop at a quick service place whenever I get hungry. The following is my list of the top 5 quick service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. What are your favorites?
5. French Market Restaurant
If you’re looking for some comfort food with a Cajun twist, look no further than the French Market Restaurant. The Market offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, chicken plates, and desserts, and the semi-enclosed patio overlooks the Rivers of America. The food here is actually better than the nearby sit-down restaurant (Café Orleans), and you can take in the sounds of a live jazz band throughout the day.
4. Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port
The Pizza Port is Tomorrowland’s largest restaurant, and it boasts a space-themed indoor dining room and two separate outdoor patios. Guests can choose from pizzas, salads, and a pasta bar, or grab pre-packaged snacks and desserts from the central fridge. The food is decent, and there are a lot of options to choose from. The indoor dining room has a retro feel, and the two patios are surprisingly quiet for being so close to major attractions.
3. Rancho del Zocalo
I talk about this restaurant a lot, because I think it’s such a treasure within Disneyland! Aside from its gorgeous dining rooms and peaceful outdoor dining space, Rancho del Zocalo has good food and even better desserts (the Tres Leches is my favorite!). If you have any interest in Mexican food during your stay at the Disneyland Resort, Rancho del Zocalo should be at the top of your list.
2. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta
Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is my favorite quick service spot in California Adventure. Like the name suggests, this restaurant offers pizza, pasta, and salads. I think the food here is great, and I love the dining patio. There are covered sections, open sections, and there’s a central gazebo stage for live music. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is a great spot to eat, listen to music, and unwind.
1. Earl of Sandwich
The Earl is probably the most famous quick service restaurant at the Disneyland Resort, and for good reason. The sandwiches here are awesome, and there are tons and tons of options for such a small restaurant. There is a biergarten-style patio with long, shared tables, or your can take your food to go. While they do have alternative meal options, the reason to visit the Earl is for an awesome sandwich.
pizza and pasta is awesome great place to eat lunch.
What about Golden Horseshoe?
Golden Horseshoe is possibly the most beautiful quick service restaurant in the park, but the menu is very limited and not that great. So it would definitely top a list of gorgeous places, but not so much in a list that accounts for food! (for me at least)
Yes Redd Rockett is awesome
