This winter, Disneyland announced plans for a new after-hours event series: Disneyland After Dark. Each event will have its own unique theme, and require a separate ticket ($95), like Mickey’s Halloween Party. The first event, happening on January 18, will be Throwback Nite.

For this retro party, guests are encouraged to dress in 50s and 60s clothing, as the park will be celebrating Disneyland’s early years of operation. Classic Disney attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight, the Jungle Cruise, and the Matterhorn will be in full operation throughout the party. On top of typical ride fun, Throwback Nite will also offer exclusive entertainment:

  • Character meet & greets for classic characters
  • 1960s tribute band at the Main Street USA railroad station
  • Jazz/Swing band at It’s A Small World
  • DJ at Sleeping Beauty Castle
  • Nighttime Mark Twain Riverboat cruises
  • Photo locations with retro backdrops
  • Event-exclusive drinks, snacks, and merchandise
  • Fantasy in the Sky, a fireworks show that debuted in 1958
