Welcome to Ask The Duchess – Vol. 67, a monthly Q&A post covering a variety of resort-related topics. Ask The Duchess answers questions submitted by readers. If you have a question you’d like answered, send me a message here.
1. Where does the Disneyland Railroad stop? (submitted by Nora)
The Disneyland Railroad has 4 stops. The “main” stop that starts the grand circle tour is at the end of Main Street – it’s the first building you see when you enter the park. The second stop is New Orleans Square – and this is the best place to get off to access Frontierland, Adventureland, and Critter Country. (Note: this is also the best stop for the western side of Galaxy’s Edge, but I prefer to get off at the next stop and enter the land on the east side). The third stop is Toontown – also your stop for Fantasyland. And the fourth and final stop is Tomorrowland, also your access point for the Monorail.
2. How do I find the train station entrance in Tomorrowland? (submitted by Elaine)
This is definitely the trickiest train station to find. You’ll want to head toward Autopia’s entrance – down the long and narrow pathway. Keep going past Autopia, and you’ll see it straight ahead at the end of the path.
3. Am I allowed to push my son in his stroller through the line until we get to the ride? (submitted by Christina)
No, you will have to park your stroller before entering a line. If it’s a disability issue – please check with disability services. I believe they will help you use the wheelchair entrances but I’m not 100% sure.
4. Do they sell beignets anywhere in California Adventure? (submitted by Nick)
Not that I’m aware of! You can get them at the Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland or the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney, but I don’t know of a California Adventure location that sells them.
5. Is it true that people constantly ask cast members what time the 3 o’clock parade is? I’ve seen that all over TikTok but it seems insane. (submitted by Jenna)
It is insane, and it is absolutely true. You’d be amazed at the questions cast members have to field while keeping a Disney smile on their faces. My friend that is a former cast member said she kept a journal in her car of the weirdest questions she’d been asked. Hah!
