New Orleans Square – La Mascarade d’Orleans stands at the end of Orleans street, overlooking the train station. If you’re coming into New Orleans Square from the waterfront side, head down the alleyway between Café Orleans and the French Market. You’ll see La Mascarade on your right, just before the alleyway turns at the brick wall.

SHOPPING TIPS

I have never, ever seen this shop busy. Maybe it’s because you can buy PANDORA jewelry at many other shops at the resort, including the Downtown Disney main store? In any case, you won’t have trouble exploring this shop. One word to the wise – sometimes this shop closes a little before actual park closing. So if you want to shop here, don’t save it for last.

TRIVIA

This shop has gone through many identities and refurbishments since its opening. From 1985 – 1999, it sold Mardi Gras masks. Between 1999 and 2011, the shop sold miscellaneous fancier merchandise, like candles and princess hats. From 2011 – 2014, La Mascarade transformed into a pin shop. And from 2014 – 2015, La Mascarade d’Orleans sold French/vintage inspired hats, scarves, jewelry, and home décor.

On the upper shelves inside the shop, you’ll spot masquerade costume pieces and beading.
