  1. What is the difference between Pixar Pier and Pixar Place? (submitted by Gloria)

Pixar Pier is a land in California Adventure, divided into different neighborhoods based on different franchises. Pixar Place is a section of Hollywood Studios, a park in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

2. I am a little embarrassed to say so but I am petrified of the Dumbo ride. However, I am going on a trip with my niece just the two of us and it’s all she cares about. Any tips for this grown up chicken to survive it?  (submitted by Lori)

The height of the elephants is totally under your control – if it’s the height that scares you, just keep it low to the ground! And if it’s the speed, I promise – it doesn’t go nearly as fast as it looks like it does from the ground.

3. I’m going to Disneyland for the first time in about five years. I remember most things about the park decently well. But I do not remember one thing and it has been bothering. Isn’t there some kind of show with Darth Vader for the kids in Tomorrowland? (submitted by June)

There used to be a show called Jedi Training Academy, however, this show is no longer in operation. But if you haven’t been to the park in 5 years and want a Star Wars fix, I think Galaxy’s Edge will do the trick!

4. I am a raw vegan – what can I eat at the parks? (submitted by Toni)

I’ll be honest – I have no idea. I know several carts and quick service spots sell fruit, but I really can’t make any restaurant recommendations. If you call guest services, they may be able to help you sort out your options.

5. What blogging platform do you use to create your posts, and would you recommend it? (submitted by Mike)

I use WordPress and would definitely recommend it – it’s super user-friendly, and a lot of options for customization once you move to a self-hosted site.
