Even though youโll catch me wearing a tiara in the parks 99% of the time, I too have been bitten by the ear bug. Itโs so, so hard not to snatch some up โ they keep designing cuter and cuter pairs! For a long time, I stuck my ears in a basket in my closet, not sure what to do with them. But there are tons of cute ways to store your ears, so they can function as dรฉcor when youโre not on a Disney trip.
Closet Storage
I keep my ears on a floating shelf I purchased from Amazon. These types of shelves hold quite a few ears at a time, and they donโt take up any shelf space. You can place these shelves on a wall, on the back of a door, or inside a cabinet.
If you donโt want to stick anything on a wall, you can also find tons of headband racks on Amazon or at almost any store that sells storage containers or home dรฉcor.
Many closets have more vertical space than horizontal. If thatโs the case, give a stacked storage system like these a try.
Wall Storage
Your ears donโt have to stay in the closet; you can display them as wall art in your home! Any basic picture hanger or hook can hold a pair of ears. Try lining them up in rows or even as a Hidden Mickey.

For ears you arenโt planning to wear much, you can try a fancier solution: style them in a shadow box. If theyโre ears you never plan on wearing, you could include an autograph book, your park tickets, framed photo, or another special souvenir in the shadow box.

I love these ideas especially the shadow box idea. My ears are just sitting on a shelf right now so I need to do something with them.
I like that floating shelf idea! I did not think of that, yet it seems functional.
Thanks! It also ended up being a great way to add some color to a blank wall in the closet ๐
