Pixar Pier – The Snowman doesn’t want you to miss his frozen treats, so he set up his shop on the pier’s main walkway. If you arrive through Pixar Pier’s main entrance on the water, keep to the left. You’ll see Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats on your left, just as the path curves and slopes down onto the lower level of the pier.

The Abominable Adorable Snowman is the main distributor of frozen treats in Pixar Pier. Here you’ll find several flavors of soft serve ice creams, perfect for a hot day on the pier. Not into ice cream? The snowman also sells parfait, root beer floats, and a selection of sodas.
MY RATING: ★★★☆☆
I like the ice cream here, and the stand’s location makes it the perfect place to grab an ice cream before you wait in line for the Incredicoaster or Midway Mania. But nearby Ghirardelli has far better ice cream and a much larger menu. I really only stop at Frosted Treats if I want something cold and don’t feel like walking; if I’m really craving ice cream, Ghirardelli is just the better choice.

Recognize the face on the marquee? The Snowman made a cameo in Monsters, Inc., voiced by John Ratzenberger.
This spot has been an ice cream stand in one form or another since opening day. First, it was Catch A Flave. During the 2007-2012 overhaul, it became the Paradise Pier Ice Cream Company. And with the addition of Pixar Pier, it transformed once again into the Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats.
In Monsters, Inc., the Snowman assures Mike his snowcone isn’t tainted by saying, “it’s lemon!” On the menu here, you’ll notice the flavors are listed the same way: “It’s lemon! It’s chocolate!” etc.
