Hollywood Land – the Studio Store is a small shop in the backlot section of Hollywood Land. To find it, head toward Mickey’s Philharmagic. You’ll see the shop to the right of the attraction entrance, just beyond the theater and Schmoozies!.

The Studio Store is tailor-made for impulse shopping. If you’re looking for a hat on a super bright day, they’ve got you covered. If you’re feeling shoulder pain from your crossbody bag, they’ve got cute little backpacks ready for you. And if you’re getting a little chilly after sunset, they’ve got long sleeve tees and sweatshirts for you to throw on. This shop doesn’t have a ton of selection given its size, but it has mastered the art of having just the thing you might need.
SHOPPING TIPS
Given the small selection here, I wouldn’t prioritize this as a “shopping destination”. However, if you’re looking specifically for Monsters, Inc. or Guardians of the Galaxy merchandise, it’s a good place to start. Given the proximity to both attractions, they tend to carry those franchises most of the time. If that’s less important to you, you’re likely to find anything you see here at larger resort shops too, so this location is okay to skip.
TRIVIA
Throughout California Adventure’s tenure, this shop has been more of a kiosk-style, gone without a name, and even moved around the backlot area a few times. But there has always been some kind of merchandise available for purchase at the backlot.
