I know I’ve said it a million times before, but Disneyland’s meticulous attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. Fantasyland might just top the list of the most detailed lands, and every accent has a purpose, helping immerse you in the magic kingdom. One of my favorite details in Fantasyland appears right as you emerge beneath the castle entryway: Aurora’s Carriage.

Cinderella's Carriage

As you walk into Fantasyland, look to your left. The souvenir cart before you is no ordinary cart. It’s Aurora’s Carriage, this time transformed from a pumpkin into a stationary stand. And don’t forget her two horses! They’re standing at the ready to take her off on adventures after hanging out in the castle.

  1. I love the unique souvenir stand! It’s so cute and creative. I always interpreted this as Aurora’s carriage, since there is an “A” on the side though.

    • Oh my gosh, you are 1000% right! I never even noticed the “A”. It does in fact appear to be Aurora’s carriage. I’m going to update the post – thank you for your sharp eye! 🙂

        • You got to work in Fantasyland? That’s so cool! Would you have any interest in answering some questions in a Q&A style format for a future blog post? No pressure of course, but I’d love to share insights from a CM point of view!
