June 1990 – present
LOCATION
Frontierland – Bonanza Outfitters faces into the open courtyard in Frontierland. If you’re coming from Main Street, you’ll see it on your left, just after the log cabin storefront for the Pioneer Mercantile. If you’re coming from the Rivers of America side, you’ll see it on your right, just after Silver Spur Supplies.
EXPERIENCE
Details:
- Merchandise – Clothing, hats, and accessories
- Price Range – Most items between $25 and $100
- Unique Features – Special window on the second story reads: Texas Glenn’s Honey Bee Farm – “Our Bees Are Real Hummers” – Glenn Hicks, Proprietor. This is a nod to Glenn Hicks, one of the “Order of the Red Handkerchief” (cast members for the Mine Train).
Looking for a spirit jersey, Mickey Tee, or Minnie bag during your trip to Disneyland? Bonanza Outfitters has a decent selection of goods for men, women, and little ones. This little shop directly connects to Silver Spur Supplies and the Pioneer Mercantile, making shopping in Frontierland a breeze.
SHOPPING TIPS
As I mentioned above, all the shops in Frontierland have a very open floor plan. It’s pretty easy to navigate this shop, with one exception: Fantasmic! and fireworks time. Steer clear of this shop unless you don’t mind being trapped here for a while; crowds flood into the area to catch the nighttime shows, making it tricky to head back into Frontierland for a little while.
TRIVIA
Bonanza Outfitters replaced Pendleton Woolen Mills Dry Good Store, an Opening Day original.
Disneyland Paris also has a Bonanza Outfitters in its Frontierland.
