Davy Crockett's Pioneer Mercantile

1987 – present

LOCATION

Frontierland – The Pioneer Mercantile sits right at the front of Frontierland, next to the Adventureland passageway. Once you walk through the main entrance, you’ll see the shop on your left; it’s the corner shop with the large porch.

EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Merchandise – Tees, mugs, hats, toys, and accessories
  • Price Range – Smaller items typically under $20, with some clothing and collectibles over $50
  • Unique Features – Frequent fiddler performances on the porch

Davy Crockett’s Pioneer Mercantile sells a wide range of souvenirs. Here you’ll find hats, tees, mugs, pins, plush toys, and other merchandise swapped out seasonally. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, the Pioneer Mercantile is a great place to brainstorm.

SHOPPING TIPS

Given this shop’s location away from major stage areas and parade routes, it typically doesn’t see bad crowding. I personally like to swing by if I end my day in New Orleans Square or Frontierland, since the whole area is just peaceful at night. But you shouldn’t have trouble with business at any time of day.

TRIVIA

This shop replaced the Davy Crockett Frontier Arcade, which had been in Frontierland since Opening Day in 1955.

The Pioneer Mercantile connects to the other Frontierland gift shops. You can walk from the Mercantile to Bonanza Outfitters and Silver Spur Supplies without ever passing through a doorway.

  1. Hi,my name is Steve,
We had just visited the park and had a wonderful time as usual! Disney is one of the most amazing places on earth!
While in frontier land, we’d visited the
Mercantile shop, my daughter and I had gotten the leather wrist bands with our names on them, Only my daughter (for whatever reason at the time) decided to get out dogs name on hers instead of her name.
Just now realizing this was a bad decision, my question to you is if you do mail order to surprise her with a new one? Or if there is anyone there that would be willing to make an exception to do so?
Thanks very much for any help!
    Yours truly,
    Steve

    • Hi Steve! I am not sure if any of Disneyland’s shops will send specific items. However, you can call the merchandise # and they may be able to help: (877) 560-6477.
