Pooh Corner

April 2003 – present

LOCATION

Critter Country – Pooh Corner marks the end of Critter Country (the land only has one entrance and exit). To find the shop, follow Critter Country’s main path past Hungry Bear and Splash Mountain. You’ll see it straight ahead, next to the exit to Winnie the Pooh.

EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Merchandise – Pastries and candies, pins, kitchen wares, and limited clothing and toys
  • Price Range – Some items under $5, with a few kitchen pieces over $50
  • Unique Features – Bees nest lanterns, Mr. Bluebird’s House, Pooh’s birthday decorations throughout

Pooh Corner is Critter Country’s main shop, with its own special confectionary inside. The shop serves homemade candies, cake pops, and cookies, or you can browse a selection of kitchen gear, mugs, pins, and other smaller collectibles.

SHOPPING TIPS

Pooh Corner is my favorite place to grab a cake pop in Disneyland. The little shop is so cute, and the line moves very quickly. I’d recommend stopping by when you’re ready to take a break and get off your feet. Grab a snack, and bring it over to the Hungry Bear patio for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.

TRIVIA

Pooh Corner replaced Teddi Barra’s Swingin’ Arcade and the Brer Bar, combining the space into one larger shop.

Pay attention to the doorway on the Splash Mountain side, and you’ll see a hidden gem: Mr. Bluebird’s House.
