It’s no secret that Main Street USA is bursting with hidden details for guests to uncover. Some are more interactive, like the Party Line Phones, while others are more subdued, like the Hitching Posts. One of my favorite little details serves like a historical timeline for one particular product: Coca Cola. Let’s head over to the Refreshment Corner and check out the bottle collection.
On two sets of shelves flanking the Refreshment Corner’s entrance, you’ll see a remarkable collection of bottles. These are Coca-Cola’s various models throughout its history, starting with the first bottle shape in 1899. You’ll even see two international bottles: one in Hebrew and one in Japanese!
I find it really interesting to see how Coke bottle shapes evolved over time. Personally, I think the 1915 – 1955 model is my favorite!
