LOCATION
Downtown Disney – Sanuk sat on the eastern side of Downtown Disney, closer to the park gates than the hotels. To find the shop, you’d head toward Catal Restaurant’s tall marquee (it towers over the eastern side of the district). You’d see the shop across the courtyard, between Salt & Straw and Napolini.

Tired feet in need of some comfortable shoes found sanctuary at Sanuk. This shop, strategically located between the park gates and hotels, offered a huge selection of comfortable flats, sandals, and sneakers. If you were in search of comfy shoes as you made your way around the Disneyland Resort, you’d definitely take a peek at the selection.
CLOSURE
Sanuk closed quietly while the Disneyland Resort was shuttered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When Downtown Disney reopened in July 2020, California Sole took its place.
TRIVIA
The word “sanuk” means “fun” in Thai.
Disney Springs in Walt Disney World also has a Sanuk shop, which opened in 2015.
