EXPERIENCE
Details:
- Service Type – quick service
- Seating – outdoor patio and couch seating
- Reservations – no
- Entertainment – none
- Menu
Want a quick drink or bite to eat between running around the parks? Tangaroa Terrace offers a collection of Polynesian-inspired food from breakfast to dinner. You can also grab snacks on the go, or grab a seat at the bar for a refreshing tropical drink.
MY RATING: ★★★☆☆
Tangaroa Terrace offers largely the same drink and food menu as Trader Sam’s, but is separated into a different dining area. The food is a bit hit or miss; sometimes it comes out great, and other times it’s a rushed or overcooked mess. I would give this spot four stars if the food were a little more consistent, and if you weren’t right next door to a dining spot with a way cooler experience.
MY FAVORITES
- Pork Gyoza
- Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings
TRIVIA
Tangaroa Terrace went through a major overhaul at the end of 2018, reopening with a brand new seating area, redesigned bar, and updated menu.
The restaurant takes its name from Tangaroa, the Polynesian god of the sea.
I loved this place. It was so nice to relax here after a day in the parks.
