Paradise Pier Hotel – Mickey in Paradise faced the hotel’s central atrium. To find the shop, you’d turn to the right when you walked into the lobby. You’d see the shop on your right, across the walkway from Surfside Lounge.

Sometimes you make it all the way back to your hotel and wish you had stopped to grab that one souvenir. Maybe it was a tee shirt, or maybe it was that pair of ears you couldn’t stop thinking about all day. Mickey in Paradise came to the rescue for Paradise Pier Hotel guests. This shop sold all kinds of different merchandise, all just steps away from the guest elevators.
CLOSURE
This shop closed alongside the rest of the Paradise Pier Hotel in 2023, to make way for the transformation into the Pixar Place Hotel. The new hotel opened in January 2024, with the shop becoming “STOR-E”, themed after WALL-E.
TRIVIA
The painting behind the cash register was of the original Paradise Pier – complete with sunshine styling and Victorian details.
