In just a few days, California Adventure kicks off the 2018 Food and Wine Festival! From March 2 through April 12, Paradise Park will once again transform into a culinary playground, full of surprises, special activities, and tons of delicious drinks and snacks.
During the festival, 13 food and drink stands appear in Paradise Park. Each offers a small menu of dishes inspired by California cuisine, and almost all come with suggested wine pairings.
This year, Hollywood Land will also join in on the Food & Wine fun. Park visitors can stop by periodic food seminars, with guest chefs presenting cooking tips, meal prepping, and other culinary topics. Kids 3-11 can also join the Junior Chef experiences, and learn how to make magical treats all on their own.
For visitors looking for VIP experiences, Food & Wine also offers a few separately ticketed activities.
- Celebrity Chefs Live at the Hyperion: Sign up for a live cooking or baking show. Plus, sample the delicious creations made on stage! Celebrity chefs this year include Guy Fieri, Robert Irvine, Keegan Gerhard, Emily Ellyn, and Duff Goldman.
- Winemaker & Brewmaster Dinners: Make a reservation for a winemaker or brewmaster dinner, and enjoy a specially prepared meal designed to bring out the flavors of the drinks you’re tasting. Guest “presenters” will walk through the courses, giving diners the story behind their specially prepared meals.
- Wine, Beer, & Spirit Tasting Seminars: Learn how to sample beverages like a pro.
- Culinary Chef VIP Packages: Sign up for premium seating for the chef demonstrations in Paradise Park. After the show, meet the chef and taste the food made on stage.
