In 2018, Disneyland kicked off the year with an exclusive ticketed event series called Disneyland After Dark. After the holiday season dies down, Disneyland After Dark 2019 kicks off with two new events: Sweethearts’ Nite and 90s Nite.
Sweethearts’ Nite – February 7
This event pays tribute to the popular “Date Nites” hosted in Disneyland’s early days. Sweethearts have access to fan-favorite Disney couples, exclusive photo stations, special food and merchandise, and dance parties all over the park.
90s Nite – March 7
This event is a millennial nostalgia night. Visitors are encouraged to come in 90s attire, and will watch an exclusive fireworks show, “throwback musical entertainment” (not many details here), special food and merchandise, and a souvenir fanny pack.

UPDATE – NEW EVENT: Heroes Assemble
Did you miss out on the first two Disneyland After Dark events this year? For the first time, California Adventure will join in on the fun and host its own event for two nights! The event, called “Heroes Assemble”, celebrates Marvel with unique experiences including:
- Superhero meet & greets
- Dance party in Hollywood Land
- Scavenger hunt
- Exclusive photo ops
- Exclusive merchandise and specialty snack offerings
