This year, the iconic Haunted Mansion turns 50. Disney Parks Blog just announced a super exclusive after-hours event to mark the occasion, complete with a private party lasting until the early morning hours.
Disneyland will host two Haunted Mansion 50th parties, one on August 7 and one on August 8. Attendees can pick up pre-ordered merchandise and check in for the event at the Disneyland Hotel all day, but the real party begins after the park closes.
Partygoers will start the festivities at 11:30 outside the Disneyland gates. Ghost hosts will escort their new happy haunts over to New Orleans Square, where the party will rage until 4 am!
Event festivities include:
- Exclusive photo op stations and access to PhotoPass photographers (guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion!)
- Secret character meet & greets
- Ghostly-themed décor throughout the park
- Access to specialty snacks & merchandise
- Access to several attractions open on the west side of the park
- Live performances kicked off by Madam Leota herself!
