This week marks one of the best days of summer…the 4th of July! If you’re headed to Disneyland on Thursday, you’ll be able to participate in a giant party spanning the park and the resort hotels. Here’s everything you can experience during Disneyland’s Independence Day 2019 celebration.
DÉCOR & SPECIAL COSTUMES
On Main Street USA, you’ll see Disneyland transformed into a red, white, and blue wonderland. You’ll find patriotic streamers, flags, and banners everywhere. Keep an eye out for Mickey and the Dapper Dans, too – they’ll all be sporting patriotic attire.

AMERICANA FOOD & MERCHANDISE
In both Disneyland and Downtown Disney, you can purchase 4thof July themed snacks, drinks, and desserts. And in both areas, you’ll see tons of star-spangled merchandise for sale.

HOTEL PARTIES
If you’re wandering by the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotel, you’re also invited to some magical block parties:
- Disneyland Hotel – Magic Kingdom Lawn will host a family-friendly party from 12-4, with face painting, games, live music, and snacks.
- Paradise Pier Hotel – Starting at 6 pm, head up to the Sand Bar for an exclusive a la carte menu, face painting, and fireworks viewing.

CONCERT IN THE SKY
And of course, the night will end with the annual showing ofDisney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”. This once-a-year fireworks show blends Disney magic with classic patriotic songs, and plenty of red, white, and blue lights.
