BACKGROUND
Tomorrowland is the land that serves as a testament to innovation, growth, and hope for the future. Meant to resemble the “futuristic” world of 1986, Tomorrowland was one of the original lands that debuted on Opening Day in 1955. In keeping with its message of continuing development, Tomorrowland has changed the most out of any land in Disneyland. More than 25 rides and attractions have come and gone in Tomorrowland’s lifetime, and it is unlikely that this land will ever stop changing or growing.
THE EXPERIENCE
Guests exploring Tomorrowland will find the imagination of space travel competing with the drama of Star Wars for attention. On one hand, this area is a reminder of the excitement of exploring the unknown, with rockets and submarine voyages. On the other hand, Tomorrowland is a nod to fictional adventures, whether it’s the adventures of Buzz Lightyear or the heroic tales of the Marvel Superheroes. No matter what draws in guests, they all find something that captures their imaginations. Visitors of all ages leave Tomorrowland with an appreciation for innovation, and a newfound hope for the future.

TOURING TIPS
Tomorrowland gets seriously packed really quickly. If I’m going to Disneyland on a day that will be even remotely crowded, I head there first. Guests that want to ride Space Mountain without an hour wait should make that their first stop of the day, or at least grab a fast pass as soon as possible.
If you have other lands you want to hit first, go to this land last. The lines may still be long, but if you’re waiting in line after the park closes, they will still let you get on the ride you are waiting for. It’s better than waiting a long time and wasting valuable time while the park is open.
