Gone Hollywood

February 2001 – present

LOCATION

Hollywood Land – Gone Hollywood occupies much of the block on Hollywood Land’s main street. If you’re coming into the land from Buena Vista Street, you’ll see Gone Hollywood on your left, across the walkway from the Disney Junior theater.

EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Merchandise – mostly Mickey & Minnie, Marvel, and Star Wars clothing; some Disney pins and accessories
  • Price Range – most items range from $20 to $70, with some pricier clothing items and bags
  • Unique Features – oversized hats & props hanging from ceiling, art deco neon marquee

If you’re browsing for some t-shirts but aren’t sure what you want, this is a great place to start. This shop sells clothing and accessories for kids and adults, offering Marvel and Star Wars merchandise not available in every shop in the parks. Gone Hollywood also offers plenty of classic Mickey and Minnie merchandise, which never goes out of style!

SHOPPING TIPS

Gone Hollywood is one of my go-to shops when I can’t decide what I want, but I know I want something Marvel or Star Wars themed. It’s the perfect place for browsing, especially if you’re killing time between fast passes or shows. Since this shop has such an open floor plan, it never feels insanely crowded; there’s no better or worse time of day to visit.

TRIVIA

Unlike most of Hollywood Land, this gift shop survived California Adventure’s 2007-2012 overhaul.

In its first few years of operation, the shop sold spoofs of Hollywood trends, like designer pet products and Zen accessories.
